Title: Linux compability and new feutures
Post by: bratignat on July 12, 2017, 12:05:29 AM
Finally Vi Et Armis and it clones are compatible with Linux distros ( anything that has installed on it Mono, and Net Framework, Direct X).

Some Changelog:
1. Added decision for selling officials, merchants, spies, missionaries  for Native Americans and Native Australians, giving them some real chance to progress, before Europeans come.
2.Changed favorite ideas for Acheans, Troy, Hitties, Aeolians, Ionians, Akkad, Egypt - giving them first Agriculture and then masonry.
3. Changed Factions ratios for Acheans, Troy, Hitties, Aeolians, Ionians, Akkad - Warlords are now ruling.
4. Mistaken localisation for Mycenaean is changed.

Hey guys,

thanks for importing the mod into Linux, one of the reason for me to stay under Windows for so many years  was the compability issues with games. I'm running Vi Et Armis with great pleasure in my Linux, thought I have one issue - I can't type in Cyrilic in order to rename my provinces. Is there any solution for this?

There is a way - to buy Microsoft fonts and to install them in your distribution. If you seek for download and use solution I am afraid there is no such. Yet playing under linux is far more smooth then under Windows.
